As we wrap up our Black History month celebration, we wanted to end it with highlighting Black women and the role they’ve played in helping shape this country. Black women are the most unprotected and disrespected people in society, but have proven to be the backbone of our democracy time and time again. Cecil Solidarity has taken time to cover Black women that have been left out of history books, code switching, The Crown Act, and other policies that disproportionately affect Black women in society and the workplace.
