Cecil Cares Week

Cecil Solidarity recently completed its first ever Cecil Cares community outreach week which was focused on providing needed resources and support to the underserved in our county. From September 21 – 25, 2020, members of Cecil Solidarity partnered with local organizations to donate their time and talents to provide meals at Meeting Ground and the Paris Foundation, collect food and monetary donations for upcoming winter food deliveries through our community aid program, complete maintenance and painting at the Mary Randall Center, and built and installed free little libraries/pantries to help provide free access to books and nonperishables while also fostering a sense of community.

Cecil Solidarity will continue to collect food donations to provide free access to food to the underserved in our community on an ongoing basis. Please check our website for future donation dates.
